Frequently asked questions
Grand Cube Osaka or a hotel ballroom: which is better for 300 attendees?
A hotel ballroom is enough for a single plenary with a few breakouts and simplifies logistics. Grand Cube Osaka becomes relevant when you need many parallel sessions, an exhibition area or fixed interpretation booths. It sits right next to RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka, so the two can be combined.
Is Osaka a good alternative to Tokyo for a convention?
Yes. Osaka often offers better hotel availability and more accessible rates than Tokyo, with Kansai International Airport, the Shinkansen at Shin-Osaka and Kyoto just 15 minutes away by Shinkansen for extensions.
How far ahead should a 300-person convention be booked?
Allow 12 to 18 months to secure the venue and room blocks, especially in spring and autumn. Options can be placed at proposal stage, without commitment for a limited period.
Do you handle simultaneous interpretation?
Yes. We book Japanese-English and, subject to availability, Japanese-French conference interpreters, along with booths and receivers. A full day requires two interpreters per language pair.
