Frequently asked questions
Why include Osaka and Fukuoka in a Japan roadshow?
Tokyo hosts most headquarters, but Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe) and Kyushu are major industrial and commercial regions. Regional decision-makers are less inclined to travel to Tokyo for an event, so going to them significantly improves attendance.
How does equipment travel between cities?
By courier, overnight, with next-morning delivery scheduled to the next venue on the Tokyo-Osaka and Osaka-Fukuoka legs. For critical items, we plan a duplicate or have the team carry them on the Shinkansen.
Do invitations need to be in Japanese?
Yes. A Japanese invitation sent 6 to 8 weeks ahead with a reminder significantly improves response rates. We draft invitations and manage confirmations in Japanese and English.
Can other cities such as Nagoya be added?
Yes. Nagoya is on the Tokaido line between Tokyo and Osaka, about 1 hour 40 minutes from Tokyo by Nozomi, and fits easily into the route. We then adjust the pace to keep a buffer day.
