Frequently asked questions
Why hold a seminar in Fukuoka rather than Tokyo?
Fukuoka is compact: the airport, Hakata Station and the hotels are minutes apart. Hotel and venue rates are generally more accessible than in Tokyo, and the city is very well connected to Korea, Taiwan and China.
Can a yatai stall be reserved for a group?
Yatai usually seat around ten people and do not take reservations for large groups. We therefore organize a staggered route in small teams, with a host who helps communication with the stall owners.
How do we get to Fukuoka from Tokyo or Osaka?
From Tokyo, the flight takes about 2 hours and is faster than the Shinkansen (about 5 hours). From Osaka, the Shinkansen links Shin-Osaka to Hakata in about 2.5 hours, city center to city center.
Are there hotels suited to 150-person seminars in Fukuoka?
Yes. Several major hotels in Hakata, Tenjin and Momochi have suitable ballrooms and breakout rooms. For larger events, Fukuoka International Congress Center and Marine Messe Fukuoka are located in the bay area.
