Corporate use

A high-altitude lunch for a group in the green season (alpine garden, hikes, paragliding) or on a ski day. For groups, Hakuba Goryu offers, by advance reservation, lunches with reserved seating, bamboo-basket bento to take away and an all-you-can-eat galette buffet (contact: 0261-75-2101). Capacity is not published; the 8-seat gondola can stop in bad weather, so we plan a fallback at Escal Plaza at the base.

Private rooms & private hire

No private room: a panoramic dining room and terrace; capacity is not published. Group meals are booked through the resort.

The menu

Green season: buckwheat galettes with local produce by Hakuba Crêpier, hot dogs, pastry chef desserts, soft-serve, watermelon juice and smoothies. Winter: pasta, curries, rice bowls (Shinshu miso pork cutlet bowl, Shinshu salmon and avocado bowl), beef udon, fried chicken and fries, parfaits and cakes. Group menus by reservation.

Frequently asked questions

Is it open all year?

No: in the green season (20 June to 18 October in 2026) and during the ski season (until 6 May in 2026), daytime only. In between, the summit is closed.

How do we organise a group lunch?

By advance reservation with Hakuba Goryu (0261-75-2101 or [email protected]): seated group meals, bamboo-basket bento or an all-you-can-eat galette buffet.

What if the gondola is not running?

In strong wind or storms the gondola may be suspended; we then move lunch to the Escal Plaza restaurants at the base.
