Corporate use
To give a group Fukuoka's live-squid speciality in a striking setting: VIPs at the counter around the tank, the rest of the group in the upstairs banquet halls. For groups the squid comes on a platter per three or four guests, then returns as tempura. A few minutes' walk from Nakasu's yatai and bars.
Private rooms & private hire
Over three floors: counters and tables around the tank on the ground floor; on the 2nd and 3rd floors, tatami banquet halls with tables and chairs, tatami rooms and private table rooms for banquets, business lunches and ceremonies. Room capacities are not published; we confirm them on request.
The menu
Squid ikizukuri by weight, with the rest returned as tempura or salt-grilled, squid shumai and seasonal fish from the tank. Banquet kaiseki courses with live squid, nabe courses in winter, and fugu or ara (grouper) courses. A 10% service charge applies at dinner.
Frequently asked questions
Can a large group be hosted?
Yes, the upper floors have several banquet halls; their capacity is not published, so we confirm it for the date and format.
How is the squid served to a group?
On a large platter for every three or four guests; the remaining parts go back to the kitchen for a second serving as tempura.
Does live squid suit everyone?
The squid still moves on the plate, which can surprise guests; we brief the group beforehand and offer other seafood or a nabe course.
What are the dinner hours?
Monday to Saturday 5:30pm–10pm, Sundays and holidays 5pm–9:30pm; closed for Obon and New Year.
