Frequently asked questions

When is the best time for an Okinawa incentive?

April to mid-May and October to November offer a good balance of weather, price and typhoon risk. The rainy season runs roughly from mid-May to late June. Swimming is pleasant from April to October; winter is mild but often windy.

What happens if a typhoon hits?

We track Japan Meteorological Agency forecasts from 5 days before arrival. Outdoor activities switch to indoor alternatives, and we coordinate any extra nights with airlines and the resort. Suitable cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Can a 200-person plenary be held in Okinawa?

Yes. Several large west coast resorts have suitable banquet halls, and the Bankoku Shinryokan conference center, next to The Busena Terrace in Nago, hosts larger events.

How do we reach Okinawa from Europe?

Usually via Tokyo (Haneda) or Osaka (Kansai), then a 2.5 to 3-hour domestic flight to Naha. Okinawa can be combined with 2 nights in Tokyo or Kyoto at the start of the program.
