Frequently asked questions
Why hold a sales kick-off in Naha rather than Tokyo?
For a clear change of setting with equally simple logistics: the airport is 11 min from the hotel, the plenary, workshops and rooms are under one roof, and the evening is on foot. In January-February, Naha sees daytime temperatures of about 17 to 20 °C while Tokyo is in mid-winter.
How many workshop rooms are available?
In addition to The Ball Room, Southgate Hotel Okinawa offers The Ocean Room (351 m²), The Port Room (193 m²) and The Gate Room (152 m²). The Grand Room at Southwest Grand Hotel (120 m²) adds one more room a few minutes away.
Does the Kokusai-dori evening work for 250 people?
Yes, as a dine-around: we book about twenty izakaya and restaurants for teams of 10 to 12, with a set menu and budget, and a team member on call for each area. The Sakaemachi Market bars are tiny, so they are visited in groups of 6 to 8, ideally on weekdays.
Can we add an incentive day?
Yes. Ferries to the Kerama Islands leave from the Tomarin terminal next to Southgate Hotel Okinawa: a snorkeling day on Zamami or Tokashiki is easy to add for top performers, with no coach needed.
