Frequently asked questions
Can top restaurants be booked for 40 guests?
Rarely at a single table. The best sushi counters often seat fewer than 10. We therefore split the group across several addresses of the same standard on the same evening, with a team member at each table.
Is the Green Car on the Shinkansen really worth it?
For a luxury program, yes: wider seats, a quieter car and seats grouped together. For larger groups, we reserve entire cars when possible, especially outside peak periods.
Is sumo practice accessible all year?
No. Tokyo stables travel for the March (Osaka), July (Nagoya) and November (Fukuoka) tournaments. In January, May and September the tournaments are held in Tokyo and practice access is more limited. We check the calendar from the design stage.
Can a ryokan stay be added?
Yes, one night in a high-end ryokan in or near Kyoto is possible for small groups. Room numbers are limited, so we mainly recommend it for 10 to 20 guests.
