Corporate use
A true ryotei able to host a large group dinner: the Nanae great hall (56 tatami mats, cypress stage) suits an evening with a geiko or maiko dance, and the chair-seated hall in the Gassho-kan doubles as a meeting room for up to 50. Ten minutes on foot from The Westin Miyako, it rounds off a Nanzen-ji and Heian Shrine day.
Private rooms & private hire
Main building: the upstairs Nanae great hall (56 tatami, plus a 12-mat corridor, raised stage), the Matsugasane mid-size room (22.5 tatami), small rooms of 4.5 to 10 tatami, some with sunken tables. Gassho-kan: 24- and 15-mat rooms downstairs and a chair-seated hall upstairs (Yuki-no-ma), with space for dance and up to 50 for a meeting.
The menu
Monthly Kyoto kaiseki (each month's menu is illustrated on the website), in several courses at lunch and dinner, with charcoal-grilled eel as the signature dish. Celebration menus on request; content varies with the day's market.
