Frequently asked questions
Do participants need to be able to swim?
Life jackets are mandatory and provided, but basic comfort in the water is required for kayaking and dragon boating. Those who prefer to stay ashore take on a role as timekeeper, drummer or referee without leaving their team.
What happens in bad weather?
We decide the evening before, with the water activity providers and Japan Meteorological Agency forecasts. Kayaking and dragon boating can be swapped or replaced by indoor games, shore-based hārī rhythm training or an Okinawan cooking workshop.
How does this differ from your 5-day Okinawa incentive?
The 5-day incentive rewards participants with free time and a gala at a resort further north. This 2-night program is built around teamwork: the same teams from start to finish, debriefs after each challenge and written commitments at the close.
Can a working session be added?
Yes. The ballroom at Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort holds 400 theater-style; a 2 to 3-hour plenary fits easily on the first afternoon or the last morning, in place of the beach games final.
