Frequently asked questions

Can we visit a Toyota plant in 2026?

Not at the moment: Toyota suspended tours of its Toyota City assembly plants in 2021 and has not announced a restart date. Toyota Kaikan remains open and opened a new area on how cars are made in June 2026. We monitor the situation and will add a plant visit as soon as it becomes possible again.

Are the visits available in English?

Yes. The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology offers English-guided tours on reservation, and most signage is bilingual at the other sites. We add a guide-interpreter per 20 guests for technical questions and workshops.

Can a visit to a local company be added?

It is possible but never guaranteed: Japanese companies accept visits case by case, depending on sector, confidentiality and production schedules. Allow at least 3 months, a presentation of your company and the participant list; we prepare the request in Japanese.

Where does the group stay in Nagoya?

At Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel, above Nagoya Station where the coaches and Shinkansen leave, or at Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower one stop away; Hilton Nagoya in Fushimi keeps the group closer to THE CONDER HOUSE. As the Nagoya Congress Center is closed until 31 March 2027, workshops take place at city-center venues.
