Corporate use

The right address when the whole incentive group must dine together over Ishigaki beef: the restaurant can be booked exclusively from 50 guests and seats 120, each table with its own grill. The official site details neither private rooms nor group menus: we put together a single assortment and drinks package with the house. For a small committee in a closed room, Ishigakiya is the better fit. Hours and closing days vary by season, so we confirm them for each date.

Private rooms & private hire

The official site lists no private rooms; the restaurant (120 seats) can be booked exclusively from 50 guests.

The menu

À la carte yakiniku built around the farm's Premium Beef: marbled and lean cuts, offal and sharing assortments, with Korean staples (bibimbap, cold noodles, kimchi, namul). Lunch menus and takeaway.

Frequently asked questions

Can the restaurant be booked exclusively?

Yes, from 50 guests; the restaurant has 120 seats in total.

Are there set menus for groups?

No group menu is published: we agree a single assortment per table and a drinks package with the restaurant in advance.

What are the hours?

Lunch 11:30 am–2:30 pm and dinner 4:30 pm–10 pm (last order 9:30 pm); closing days change with the season.

How does it differ from Ishigakiya?

Kitauchi suits bringing a whole group together in a privatized restaurant; Ishigakiya, with nine rooms for 4 to 10, suits small committees better.

Ishigaki · 島のうし 石垣屋

A charcoal yakiniku restaurant in Maezato, in the south of Ishigaki, in a building with red Ryukyu roof tiles and a frame of 300-year-old Yoshino cedar. The house buys whole animals among the black cattle born and raised in the Sakishima islands (Ishigaki and Misaki beef) and selects A4 and A5 grades, which lets it offer rare cuts; lightly seared beef nigiri is its signature. A high-ceilinged main hall with sunken horigotatsu seating throughout, and nine private rooms for 4 to 10, some opening onto the garden.
