Corporate use
The ideal lunch on a Nanzen-ji / Lake Biwa Canal / Heian Shrine morning: the house is used to groups and agencies, with an 88-seat hall and several rooms for 30 to 40. The cuisine is naturally vegetarian-friendly, easy to adapt and reasonably priced.
Private rooms & private hire
Ryoteikaku pavilion: an upstairs hall for 88 (tatami with chairs), Satsuki (40), Tsukimi and Nanami (30 each), Hasumi (14), Tsubaki (8) and Tsutsuji (6). Junsei Shoin: rooms for 2 to about 10. Tangoya and Soso-an rooms for simpler meals.
The menu
Yudofu sets (Japanese-soybean tofu in a hot pot with house sauce) in three versions, fuller "shunsai" menus, twelve-course yudofu kaiseki in which yuba can replace tofu, and beef shabu-shabu. Chilled tofu is offered in summer.
