Corporate use
A private evening on the water for 20 to 40 guests: charter of the Japanese boat from 30 guests or the Western boat from 20, with departures at 4pm, 6pm or 8pm. Karaoke on board and optional hostesses. A larger group needs both boats; we check that they are free at the same time.
Private rooms & private hire
Two boats available for charter: the Japanese boat (42 seats, tatami and horigotatsu, observation deck, karaoke, toilet) from 30 guests, and 'La Belle Époque' (25 seats, bar counter, observation deck, karaoke, toilet) from 20 guests. Charter from 10 guests is sometimes possible depending on the date.
The menu
Two-hour courses prepared on board: yosenabe or mizutaki, motsunabe, charcoal-grilled Genkai seafood, tempura fried on the spot, A5 wagyu sukiyaki and fugu in season. Assorted sashimi is included from certain course levels. Optional free-flow drinks (beer, sake, shochu, wine, whisky, soft drinks).
Frequently asked questions
From how many guests can a boat be chartered?
From 30 guests for the Japanese boat (42 seats) and from 20 for the Western boat (25 seats); sometimes from 10 depending on the date.
Does the boat sail in the rain?
Yes, but the cruise may be cancelled in heavy rain or strong current, so we always keep an onshore fallback.
Is seasickness a concern?
The Naka River is very calm and the boat moves slowly, so seasickness is rare.
What is the cancellation policy?
Fees apply to reduced numbers: 30% from 14 days, 40% from 7 days, 50% the day before and 100% on the day.
